Mystic Maya

Journey of Initiation

Science, Sacrament & Sacred Space.

To the Maya, pyramids are not simply buildings or temples. They are working machines capable of harnessing, generating, and distributing powerful energies for transformation. Sacred spaces are presented and decoded as they were intended to be used: tools and portals of awakening meant to be used for raising the awareness and vibration of humankind.

This feature length film shares rare teachings and transmissions from authentic native lineage holders and documents the beliefs, rites, and mystical practices of the Mayan spiritual cosmology and the reasons for their rites and passages of initiation.

From Mayan to Egyptian and Modern Masonic Modalities. This film explores the purpose, practicality and similarity of many esoteric practices as were commonly taught in ancient mystery schools.

A Journey

of

The Mayan culture respected the elements of creation and knew their place in the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The rites and rituals that initiated one into any stage of life in Mayan culture were highly specialized and allowed deeply esoteric knowledge to be cultivated and passed along for timeless generations.

Their religious culture and the access higher levels of society were regulated by a series of sacred passages that sought to transform the postulant into a higher state and stage of understanding and awareness within society and the cosmos.

By integrating their entire culture with esoteric practices based in geometry, astrology, and an ecological attunement with their natural world; the Maya created a durable society based in a truly Cosmic perspective of ones place in the universe.

Their monuments remain powerful temples and places of power to this day. Their legacy of integration with the inner and outer worlds and a spirituality of wholeness and relationship to the mystical world of nature can teach modern society the important lessons that we need at this time.

I feel that I was able to grock more in that hour than I have in twenty some years!

It not only informed me of the Mayan mystic schools but reminded me of our path as mystics,  the purpose of our mystical schools, and the potential we each have to reach the heights of mystical experience.  It demonstrated that the process of spiritual education and evolution in this material world is timeless and "mystery schools" have been with us throughout our history.

I just want to say that your documentary has touched my soul and I thank you so much for my experience and, hopefully, the enlightenment it will provide for others that see it.

...“Mysticism has been waiting for thousands of years

for science to catch up to it.”

Advanced insights on mathematics, planetary orbits, and psychology were commonplace to the ancient maya. Through an integrated cosmology and understanding of the inter-relationships of humankind, plants, minerals, elementary forces and cosmic cycles, they practiced what can be referred to today as the mystical arts.

The world view and practice of mysticism as applied by the ancient maya remains today a powerful outlook and technique for personal transformation, integration and discovery.

The Maya studied an advanced science of astronomy along side their astrology. They knew of the power that came from understanding the subtle forces that emanate from distant planets and stars and how those forces could be used to harness spiritual power on earth.

Their science and religious outlook did not separate distant places or distant times. They were not held back by the taboos of modern societies. Their cosmology and worldly understanding welcomed the access to spiritual realms through many practices which allowed their Priest and Priestess class access hidden insight and knowledge.

First person interviews with authentic lineage holders reveal a tapestry of world esoteric beliefs that bring forward a deeper level of sacred knowledge about the Maya and ancient world cultures than have previously been discussed in a public format.

The cosmology of the triune mayan worldview: That of the Upper World, Middle World, and Underworld are described in detail and relationship to the cycles of life death and rebirth.

They Maya understood these great cycles of life as they understood cycles of vast time. The unlimited freedom of thought and spiritual development in Mayan culture is based deeply in their understanding of the cycles of time spanning thousands and even millions of years.

As Hunbatz Men and others propose in this film, pyramids are indeed working machines capable of absorbing and directing cosmic energies.  How exactly does one turn a pyramid on then, and how and what does one do to apply that knowledge?

Sound and Tone such as the ancient syllable Aum (Ohm) were used in many ancient cultures to attune ones consciousness towards the cosmic. Pyramids and such sites and structures as the Maya created were not for burial.  They were Temples and Portals for inner and outer transformation.

The worldview and relationship of such sacred structures worldwide leaves no room for coincidence that in a time deeply distant a common set of mystical beliefs were taught and practiced by mystery schools around the globe.

As revealed in Mystic Maya, an examination of the texts of the Mayan Popal-Vuh and comparison with the rites and rituals of “Initiation into the Mystery Schools”  as described in the Egyptian Pyramid Texts shows incontestable consistency between Mayan / Egyptian religious ceremonies and their practices of initiation.
